In a year which championed a relaxed yet refined way of life, we are channelling effortless elegance as we approach our beauty regimes this festive season. Whilst a year won’t go by where we don’t reach for our Chanel Rouge Coco in 'Gabrielle' or our trusty MAC Ruby Woo, we’re stripping back the coverage this year and opting for a more natural-looking, radiant base aligned with our laid-back luxe 2020 approach.
The Art of ‘No Makeup’ Makeup
This paired back, transitional look is perfect for taking you from that first champagne ‘clink’ on Christmas morning, to the early hours of Boxing Day as you dance the night away… With a few key products you can achieve effortless elegance that can be dressed up with a gentle sparkle or a deep red, or kept minimalist as to bring all attention to the beautiful skin. Follow Amanda’s steps to perfect the ‘no makeup’ makeup look and be ready to dazzle your loved ones this Festive Season.
Step 1: SKIN PREP
With any form of art, one must always prep the canvas before creating the magic. Amanda creates her own potion by combining the Amanda Harrington London Ultimate Face Miracle Moisture Cream with Barbara Sturm's SPF drops as they go exceptionally well together. Massage this into the skin, making sure you bring it down the neck and into the décolletage too.

Step 2: BASE
Instead of a foundation, use the Amanda Harrington London Illuminating Face Mist to give you that ultimate glowing complexion. The lightweight, buildable nature of the Face Mist allows you to add contour and colour to the face as well as giving your face some ‘shape’ by defining your cheekbones, temples and jawline.

Step 3: EYES
Start with some Brow Gel and brush it upwards through the brows to create shape and depth. Use your fourth finger (it uses the least pressure) and drag the colour through the brows to create an arch shape.

Moving onto eyelashes, now you can really build your look here, whether you like more defined lashes or something more natural. Layer mascara the way you would layer tan.

Step 4: LIPS & BLUSH
Using a product in multiple ways is our favourite time-saving tip. Choose your favourite moisturising lipstick and give your lips a pop of colour, then dab the lip colour on the apples of your cheeks to add a touch of healthy colour to your complexion.

And there you have it! Now all you need to do is dress up this glowing complexion with a deeper lip colour of a gently smoke on the eye for the ultimate day to night, festive makeup look.
